Pumpkin Patch

After taking pictures, we took the kids to the pumpkin patch. They had fun riding the tractor, seeing the animals and picking out the perfect pumpkin.

Family Picture Day

Like every year…it was a battle and there were many fights and tears trying to get a good picture of us. I think we got some good ones considering the circumstances (four young boys and an unhappy husband :)

The Cowboy Party

Eli wanted Cowboys and Indians for his birthday. I lucked out and found some cowboys stuff…I hired one of my 7th grade students to make cupcakes for the big party.

I'm still trying to figure out how this little baby is 5! FIVE years old...

Crazy! 

Eli, you keep us on our toes, that's for sure! Your brothers wanted to name you Spike James. Like, really thought your name was going to be Spike. I think of the four Kalainoff Boys...you could have pulled it off! Your giggle makes me laugh...most of the time. It is contagious. You are such a fun-loving happy boy but man do you have a mind of your own. You are strong willed...it will be a wonderful trait to have as you grow up. It doesn't work so much as a 5 year old though :) 

This picture is stil my favorite of all time. Your second birthday was definitely one to remember. I can't think of too many two year olds that get a fire truck ride for their birthday! What a lucky boy you were! 

And this one doesn't need much explanation...pretty much sums up things. You have made me want to laugh, scream, cry and be happy all at the same time...many many times in your five years.
